Lacey Prater, MSW

Lacey Prater, MSW, is a compassionate and experienced therapist who creates a safe and supportive space where healing can begin. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Simmons University in Boston, MA, and has worked extensively with individuals facing trauma, intimate partner violence, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship issues.

With a collaborative, client-centered approach, Lacey believes that every person is the expert in their own life. She draws from evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness to help clients build insight, develop coping strategies, and create meaningful change.

She has particular experience working with veterans and military families, helping them navigate the unique emotional and psychological challenges that can arise from service-related stress and reintegration.

Lacey is passionate about working with adults and teens from diverse racial, ethnic, sexual, and gender identities. She is committed to honoring each client’s individual journey, offering a warm, judgment-free space where clients feel truly seen and supported.
