Emily Nielson, MS

Emily is an experienced therapist with a deep passion for helping adults of all ages heal from trauma, relational wounds, anxiety, and depression. She specializes in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, a powerful, evidence-based approach for clients who feel "stuck" in the past or caught in repeating patterns. Clients consistently find that EMDR helps them process what talk therapy alone couldn't reach—creating real, lasting shifts in how they relate to their history and themselves.

Known for her empathetic, warm, and thoughtful approach, Emily is committed to walking alongside her clients at every stage of their healing journey. She brings an inclusive, culturally-informed, LGBTQ+ affirming lens to her work and is intentional about getting to know each client and meeting them exactly where they're at.

Emily's clinical practice centers on EMDR, complemented by parts-work to support deeper healing of trauma and relational wounds. As a 200-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher, she also integrates somatic and mindfulness practices into sessions, helping clients reconnect with the body as part of their recovery. Her approach is always tailored to the unique needs of each client, charting a clear roadmap toward healing and growth.
